schnitzer79, nice use of selective coloring. Very tastefully done. That's a technique I think should be used rarely and with discretion, and I think you chose the perfect composition to use it.

thanks MPrince. there was something about the original photo i didnt like, but wasnt quite sure what it was. I definitely prefer it this way

Good sharp lens and a versatile FL on APS-C.

Ideal for landscapes:

Not the first choice FL for head and shoulders portraits, but it does well. (f3.5)

This lens seems far better than its price would suggest! Small, cheap, light and it even proves useful on the K1 sensor.

I'm not happy with it. Autofocus raises questions. 2.4 this is a lot. And it's very dark. Using it in low light conditions is a bad idea... But for me, there are no other options yet.

Good sharpness across the frame makes the 35 a good basis for stitched panoramas. 6 images with the K-30 + DA 35 f2.4 stitched in Microsoft ICE

My question from others is, is the performance in terms of sharpness of this Pentax 35mm f2.4 better than Sigma 30mm f1.4 (not Art version)
