ahh. need to get this lens.

seems like I need to get a tripod to get the most out of it though?

any experience from those who don't like to carry tripods around?

if it's sunny and well lit stepping down to f8 hand held is no problem. For sunsets and the like you definately want a tripod, even for a faster lens.

Never wandered into this particular sample thread. This thing's rendering is absolutely sublime.. And there are a few selections here that are top top notch. Great photo browse I just had.

my copy used to be decentered on the left side... do some test shots and send it to the service...
