Fun -- another DA21 thread. This is my favorite hiking lens.

Ricketts Glen State Park (Pennsylvania)

Lower Grotto Falls, Great Smoky Mountains National Park (Tennessee)

Cades Cove, Great Smoky Mountains National Park (Tennessee)

Roaring Fork Motor Nature Trail, Great Smoky Mountains National Park (Tennessee)

Hi, just bought the lens and I do not know why some complain about the sharpness, a few examples below you may have a wrong copy:

f4.0 1/180 ISO-400

and 100% crop (not bad -sorry for the Pentax soft boost)

f3.2 a close up type

f8.0

first HDR directly off K-5

and a portret type f3.2

100% crop

So, I guess the sharpness is sufficient for such a little gem

Alright, I'll take the challenge....here's my take on a 21mm HDR.

Processed from two shots using TrueHDR on the iPad and default settings (iPad screens not color calibrated...don't bite if it looks weird)

[edit: Apologies for the poor quality of the upload, it seems that when popping big jpegs from Tapatalk, it downscales and pixelates rather horrilbly]
