Outstanding, wish this lens would be as great when on my camera.
That's easy. here are the steps to take:
1. Find a superb subject in perfect lighting
2. Send all the people who are in your way away
3. Set your camera on a tripod
4. Set SR off
5. Set framing perfectly
6. Take the shot.

Personally, I have #1 and #6 down perfect, and sometimes even do #3 and #4. It's #5 that I have trouble with.

@MacaN, Welcome to the friendly Pentax forum online.
You will never be disappointed with the lens. It is my most used lens, along with DA40.
Nice pic..where it is?

Thank you ntrao, it is a medieval town called Cesky Krumlov located in the South of Czech rep. Worth to visit when you are travelling my country - highly recommended.

Great picture. But I notice a small hair (dust) on your sensor. Look above the second (left to right) tower type building in picture. The offending dust hair is right above it.

Hi rburgoss, thank you. Most probably it was something on the lens surface, I have checked all the photos from that session and the next day and there is nothing like that in the pictures - thankfully

Waited for a while to see if Pentax would release this lens in a WR version, got tired of waiting and got it second hand for a decent price and been playing around with it:

Pentax 12-24 on K3ii with pixel shift. Manhattan from Brooklyn Bridge park.

And Mesa Arch in in Canyonlands NP Arizona. What I love about this lens is a) versatility and b) it handles direct light very well. While it doesn't have the prettiest of starburst patterns. It is certainly the best lens I've used for capturing sunburst from direct sun. This one took a little cleanup in photoshop to remove a few lens reflection artifacts but not much. I also tried the Sigma 18-35 F1.8 Art here and that couldn't handle the sun, massive flares and an unusable image. I believe this shot also had PS turned on but can't remember.

Really impressive work, especially the Manhattan one with those beautiful smooth blue waters and skyline.

A couple from Bryce Canyon NP:
