Well done.
Thanks. Lucky to have been able to take the 12-24 to that remote place.

Loving the Learning

Thanks everyone for all the images. I've been obsessed with buying a new lens, and recently purchased 12-24 from a forum member who lives an hour away from me. I'v been loving the process of learning how to use it. Here's a few shots from the past couple of days.

There are some great photos in this thread. I'm now having a hard time trying to figure out if I want this lens or the DA 10-17mm.

You would need both. They are completely different in their outlook: the 12-24 is definitely not a fisheye, the 10-17 is definitely fisheye.

^ And there lies the problem. I like them both. Hahaha!

But yeah. If I get one, I won't be able to get the other one for a long while. I'm trying to figure out which one to get now. Both have their pluses, both have their minuses, & both have their own sets of distortion. I had a Tokina 11-16mm f/2.8 rectilinear for my old Sony A200 DSLR, so I know what I would be dealing with as far as the DA 12-24mm goes. I've never owned a fisheye, though. The DA 10-17mm thread has some pretty neat photos, though, but the fisheye can get distracting at times. Decisions, decisions.

Hi Squirrel

Since you have had the tokina then the fisheye is first
