Lovely pictures.

Love the first pic very much..
They allowed you to take a Real camera inside the temple?

My last trip to India, security didn't allow me to use my K3 inside a mall, but freaking idiotic cell phones are allowed!!

Ha ha ha.. Hampi is a architectural photography lovers paradise.. every site allows camera.. but not tripod.
It's a problem here in India. Many malls or even parks also wont allow a camera.. but you can take a 16mp mobile phone camera with you and take pics.. no issues.
I argued at some places.. but understood, it is lack of their understanding of a camera is the reason, why they dont allow.

Nice image you have created. I have the 12-24 and use it an awful lot. My 16-50 doesn't get much use compared to it, because I tend to go wide whenever possible for scenery, as you did superbly here.

Oddly enough, I don't use my 12-24 all that often. It's more of a speciality lens for me, but a much-needed specialty lens. It's one of the reasons I've stayed with APS-C. For Pentax FF, I would've needed a wide angle zoom, but the only modern one available is the DFA 15-30, which costs twice as much as the 12-24 and weighs nearly as much as the DA* 300. That's too much weight and price for a specialty lens.

Another shot @12 mm, this time of Bryce Canyon:
