Thank you. All the ones I have posted here are from the (very photogenic) Gippsland region in eastern Victoria, Australia.

Very kind of you Mircea. One thing about an ultrawide lens is that it makes you concentrate on composition - it makes me look for foreground interest, lines, patterns, balance, etc. It is possible to take really bad shots with a UWA lens if you don't!

Thanks very much Dave. It's a pity if the lens has been discontinued - it provides a more affordable and lighter-weight alternative to the DA*11-18 f2.8. A refresh with HD coatings would be welcome. The range is useful too - running to 24mm means fewer lens changes and a viable kit with just a telephoto lens and a prime in the 28-50mm range.

I have one and don't use it enough ... the 21 ltd ' lives ' on the camera.
One with the newer HD coatings should do quite well.

The 12-24 plus 55-300 makes for a very light and versatile kit for me. For more versatility (and weight) I sometimes add the FA 100/2.8 macro. It can certainly bring out distant views nicely. This bridge is between our house, North of the Elk River in a subdivision and the main centre of Sparwood.
