I have been to Portland several times on business trips, unfortunately that leaves no time for sightseeing.
I did actually tell my wife that we could use your photos as inspiration to a trip. We would have to go more than once though, the 'bucket list' is very long :-)

I got the lens yesterday, I went to the beach immediately after work to try it out

I don't use the lens a lot but when I do it typically delivers. This defished shot was chosen as the lede photo for a motorcycle travel story to Maine:

And this was taken in Vermont. I had my friend Sandy ride just past my shoulder to get this shot. I also made sure that I didn't get run over!

Lovely shots!

I'm in Japan right now. I have the Sigma 10-20mm f/4-5.6 & it's wonderful, but I do wish I had this 10-17mm lens too.
