Great to see samples of this at f1.2 - thanks for posting. Interesting to compare this to the superb Cosina f1.2 or Porst f1.2. My problem is I like them all and they are all great lenses (though I'd go for the Cosina bokeh if it came down to "there can be only one") !!

Some excellent shots, especially the yellow daisy in the original post.

I had one of these lenses . . . and sold it

But I have the DA 55mm SDM now and I like it just as much.

A couple more. Fireflies taken in late June of this year. I found them difficult but rewarding to photograph. Their lights are both dim and ephemeral. I found that anything above 2.0 resulted in black screens. These were taken the the K 50mm F1.2 wide open focused at infinity. Shots are 1.3 and 1.6 seconds.

Like the PP on the police cruizer Yeatzee. On shooting fireflies, I tried my FA 35 f/2.0 but got nothing but a black frame. I would imagine they need f/1.4 or wider. Their flashes are quite dim. I used the K 50 wide open and focused to infinity, it doesn't really matter if the flashes are in perfect focus or not, in fact, the nearby ones are a bit spectacular, big green/yellow blobs, they really look alien. One of the problems around here (northeast) is that they are active for only about 2-3 weeks in late June/early July. But I did have fun once I recovered from the blank shots of the FA 35.

NaCl(nothing like a solveable photographic problem for satisfaction)H2O

I knew this thread wouldn't be good for the LBA. I like low depth of field shots and now my FA50/1.4 is looking inadequate.

The K 50 1.2 stopped down a little bit (I don't remember the f-stop... probably f 2.0)
