Recently I shot with 77ltd on K-1 wide open, and got absolutely terrible fringing. That kind of heavy fringing I can't fix in LR without damaging the color balance. I can manage it, but can't get rid completely, especially purple heavy and vivid fringing.
How do you deal with that issue, guys? Can I shot aperture wide open only indoors, evenings/early mornings, or nights? For the day time it seems that fringing is under control starting from f2.8 and up.
My old manual lenses has less of that problem wide open, and cost way less...

Even though I am mostly using the FA 85 now for my portrait work I still love my 77.

Thanks Chris - means a lot coming from you.

It was shot in natural light (small reflector used to lift shadows on my left) and I **think** they have been very happy with the images from the shoot. Of course I was super lucky in that they are a very photogenic couple and were willing to have fun in the shoot.
