Pentax FA 77mm f/1.8 Limited samples

Tried to take some portraits a few weeks ago.

I just got a 77 for $700 'used'. It's MINT. As far as I'm concerned I got it new. First picture I took was of me, holding the camera in front of my face, in the mirror.

Mind blown of a picture so stupid and simple, but I understand the 'magic' already. I have a 90mm macro coming and I have a feeling it's going to take weeks for me to pry this off my K1.

I took my 77mm to the recent Golden Gate Kennel Club dog show here in SF. I shot mostly at ISO 1,000 and 800, f/1.8 to f/2.2, Pentax K-3.

Rhodesian Ridgeback

Bernese Mountain Dog

Borzoi

Border Collie

Dalmatian

Lagotto Romagnolo

Harrier (with a fatty lipid deposit in it's eye)

I've been using my DA*300 a lot lately for birding but today I busted out the old 77, which is my favorite for hummingbirds. Violet green swallows are simply too small and too ridiculously fast to track with 300mm. It took a fair amount of time, plenty of misses and a few decent frames, but finally got what I was going for. This is our resident baby-momma on final approach to the nest with a mouthful of breakfast for the kidlets. She's comin' in hot.

These examples are amazing! I just bought this lens for my k1ii about a month ago and I'm practicing and learning with it.
I wonder on full frame, what fstop would you all recommend for shooting a couple, like an engagement shoot while still getting that nice bokeh and both people in focus?
It seems depth of field is shallower on full frame. For one person, I shoot wide open or almost wide open at 1.8 - 2.2.
