Some spectacular shots on this and every page! What a great lens!

This one is one I like simply because it's not what you'd normally think of using the DA*55 for. I was out with the lens one day and found this nice perfectly round water drop. I didn't want to go back and get my macro lens, so I just took the photo with the DA*55. This is heavily cropped, of course, but I was really happy with how sharp it is and how well it turned out.

Taken at f/3.5

The sample images are pretty nice. I'm sold! Mine is on it's way to my doorstep right now! Now I am fully weather resistant.

Thanks Steve! I just love the DA*55. I think I could probably live with just it (or the FA77), along with the 18-135 and, if not be totally happy, at least survive.

That's the conclusion I came to after I sold off all my Pentax lenses except the DA*200. I just had to go and buy another DA*55. I plan on eventually buying another 31 and 77 and that will be enough.

That flower with the droplets is amazing! You make me long for that lens even more. I need your framing skills with it too though.
