One of my finest lenses - sharp, brilliant rendition and detail, great colours.

I use this one mainly as mid tele and not macro.
Very fast AF, very nice colours and uber sharp! Just shame it's so heavy

FA 100mm F2.8

I've had this lens for a few weeks now. I got it from a seller on the marketplace here on the forum. So far, it has turned out to be a versatile lens. And, I don't think it feels that heavy at all. But I have a K-r so the total weight I am carrying around is not that much. Anyway, all my shots with it have been handheld and I like the feel of the lens.

Any doubt how much I love this lens?
For good reason; it's never failed to take my breath away with its striking resolution and colour rendition.

Hi Ash,

What camera did you use to shoot your reptiles? any tips how to get such good pics? I can get good focus but nothing like the resolution on the eyes like you can! (or are you just really really close? (I am photographing snakes so they tend to move away from the bright light/camera if i get too close)

Thanks, Charlotte
