I read you also had the da 18-135, how does tamron 28-75 compare to that? is there a big difference aside from the longer reach of the pentax lens? is either one way sharper than the other at the same focal length? not sure if the price of the pentax is really worth it to choose it over the tamron IQ-wise

The 28-75 has better IQ and is sharp wide open.
I use it for when I need a faster lens like indoor events.
I use the 18-135 for a daylight outdoor walking around lens, and for when I need WR.

Great lens that a really need especially for portraits, I like how it is sharp without looking 'digital sharp' if that makes any sense.
