Haven't posted any new samples in a while -- I don't bust out this lens as much as I should, its a real gem. Can't wait to use it on the FF

Looks like an amazing lens. Just out of curiosity - has anyone tested it against the 85 1.4 Art version? I wonder what the improvements are (if any at all) over this (I believe this one is a bit older than the current art version?).

There is no Art version, yet.

There is however an updated Cine version, rumoured to be a teaser for the new Art version

Is it that way or the other and the Cine versions are adaptations from their older stills lens models?

Either way, I'm more looking forward to what Sigma shows at Photokina this year than Pentax! I have a slight glimmer of hope that they announce some (any) lenses for K mount.

The new Sigma Cine 85mm f1.4 is has a different lens element design (14 elements in 12 groups) to the existing Sigma 85mm f1.4 HSM (11 elements in 7 groups)
