[langtitle=de]Pentax SMC M100/2.8[/langtitle]

... bought it 30 years ago and never will sell it. It is a very sharp lens with a compact Design and a great Bokeh. Can't understand, that there are only so few people who own it and use it. The Lens works well with no issues on my K-5.

I also like it a lot. SMC Pentax-M 100mm f/2.8 NON-macro that is. Bought as a cheaper and longer alternative to LTD70/2.4 because LTD was too expensive for it's rare use.

SMC Pentax M 100mm F2.8 Samples

These are more to demonstrate (I hope) sharpness and resolution rather than to show "pretty pictures":

Good images btw. Especially i like that bridge and reflection. This is one of lenses that has quite a benefit from long, good hood. Especially at F2.8.

I had the M 100/2.8 for many years but sold it when I got the A 100/2.8 macro. The macro is a great lens but quite heavy. Selling the M 100 may have been a mistake as there was something about the feel of that lens which just set it apart from lessers lenses. That and wonderful images such as these. Well done.

Wonderful images in this thread. I sold mine in favor of keeping the K105/2.8. Seeing these makes me - wonder.

One of my favourite shots with the Pentax-M 100mm f/2.8, at f/5.6. K-5.
