Great photos. Definitely A50 f1.7 is a great tool. But in this case it is more of photographer's eye.

Just bought this lens in addition to the M version. I have to say, in terms of build quality if anything the A is slightly better, and I have notice no optical difference.

The previous two pics are straight to jpeg conversions. The one below is CROPPED and SHARPENED!

The A 50mm F1.7 is my first ever prime lens. I like it a lot!

I bought my A 50mm 1.7 with an ME Super in 1980. I used it in college then packed it away until I bought an Olympus OM-D EM-5 and discovered how easy it is to use legacy lenses. I found the Pentax in a file drawer. Bought a $12 adapter and rediscovered what a fantastic prime this is.
