I have just found this thread and...............WOW !!

Wonderful images folks. I would like to add a few if I may.

This lens is a gem, as the resolution it provides is so good, cropping to frame subjects to taste is made easy.

Thanks, I try. But honestly, it was an accident. I took it out for my walk, the TC was on it from chasing a butterly that I never actually got an image of. I didn't have the caps so I could not take it off and put it in my pocket.

LOL - I have been there. Sometimes the best choices are made by accident! I have a shot I made with a 400mm that is essentially a candid portrait - why - the lens was on the camera - why not!
