Please, is the Diaphragm manual ? or auto and manual ? or only auto ? I will buy this lens to use with a canon eos fullframe with adapter.

Thank you. I will post next week a photo. People said that the fisheye effect isn't too pronounced on a DSLR but I they dont said if its a fullframe or not. I think they use a APS sensor. I have a canon 6d fullframe and the adapter is the thin adapter below. The other adapter is to nikon.

The lens is a thing of beauty as many of the A series lenses are.

But the results a just a little too curvy for my taste, never thought you'd hear the Kerrowdown turn down a curve or two.

I take the photos today. But the adapter is to Canon APS-C and can dont fit canon fullframe. Of course I didnt give up and I did some tricks in the adapter (screws, pins etc). My mirror and prism frame almost broke. (my english is terrible). But, at the end, I did it work.
The first photo was taken with a APS-C sensor, canon sl1. No problems with the adapter.

The second was taken with a Canon 6D fullframe. A lot of problems with the adapter... The vignette is from the lens "parasol"... What is the translation in english ?

Thank you

The lens hood is cutted to avoid vignette, but I shifted de lens position to avoid the problem inside with the mirror and prism and now the vignette appears. The lens have some parts that at this position dont damage the body. I think that I have to cut this parts because they are to inform the camera (I think only a manual pentax) about the Diaphragm, and it doesnt need to do this anymore. But, in the future if I sell this lens it will fit only as no informing the camera about the Diaphragm. Well only old pentax cameras need this...

The test now is with the pk-nk safe adapter. I used a nk-canon ef adapter to adapt the adapter...

First photo (the center is always the top center window) with the adapters and canon 6d fullframe.

Second photo with the adapters and canon sl1 / 100D APS-C sensor.

Today I cut off the parts of the fisheye that interfere with the canon inside parts. The lens and canon are working fine.

---------- Post added 03-18-14 at 04:55 PM ----------

Conclusions. The safe adapter (wide adapter) pk-nk destroy the fisheye image. The sensor APS too... This lens is terrific with a fullframe.

Cutting off the lens parts allow to shift the lens to the correct point and the lens hood doesnt interfere anymore.
