Great results for such a bargain lens. Are these all shot at F8?

F8 or f11 most often and usually with my K10. The viewfinder starts getting dark for sharp focusing at f16 and I usually add one stop on the shutter speed when Green button is in use. It's not as fast and convenient as Bigma but in brick wall tests, it's not bad.
This is one of my oldest, original lenses from my K1000 days.

It's in my price range at least. The Bigma is deep down on a long wish list. I can get some use out of this.

I really would not consider the lens to be unique or remarkable. I mean I would not like to be without mine... I think I have seen a lens that is currently made Phoenix that may be similar.

Mine might be close to 25 years old. They pop up on Craiglist on rare occasions. I doubt they sold many when they were produced.

ahhhhh! OK thanks, that explains why I don't know of it. I've seen a long lens by Phoenix at B&H I think, but they dont have them now. Not to worry, I'll make do. A bigma will never make my list, it costs as much as my a/c will when i get it installed!
