Pentax FA 50/2.8 Macro

Hi all.

Here is one photo to start with:
(Camera: K-5)
Tv(:1/4000Av:4.5ISO :200

Beautifully delicate, but I wonder if the white point is set correctly. The histogram shows no information about about 90% of full scale - if I tweak it a bit, I get a much "snappier" rendition.
But it is a lovely shot.

FA 50 Macro is becoming my favorite lens lately! Great sharpness edge to edge, wonderfully accurate color, etc.

Here are a few detail shots, and one landscape, from a recent autumnal hike on Holston Mountain. (Blackberry leaves, Bracken Fern, False Solomon's Seal fruit, Woodland Sunflower, Bumblebees working Goldenrod, and Blue Hole middle falls...)

Very happy with this so far. These shots are handheld with my K-1 on Auto, so doesn't get any simpler.

K3 + FA50 Macro for city landscape. I should have used f16 for nicer starbursts.

It is really a good lens for both macro, landscape and portrait photo

FA 50/2.8 Macro

If you can ignore its weight and the ... of cause... the clamp
