For stitching panoramas, I use Microsoft Image Composite Editor (which is free and easy to use). (I process the RAW files in PL, export as TIFs and stitch those in ICE, which exports them as jpgs. It sounds more complicated than it is.) For my rare forays into HDR, I have used HDR Efex Pro. I sometimes use Nik Silver Efex Pro for B&W images. (I have the free Google versions of these two, not the DxO versions.) Otherwise (and this is for 95% of my photos) it's the DxO programs all the way.
I would like to try focus stacking, which requires something else.
