A few can be found from my stub single in February album... I really need to spend a whole month with this sometime soon!

K10D - 78mm - 1/90s - f/2.8

Just goes to show that this is a truly sharp lens even wide open, especially below the 100mm range.

Well since I decided to keep my copy, I thought it best to jump over to this thread for posts pertaining to this very fine lens. I took another break so a few more test shots...I am so looking forward to when finals are done although I have graduate school applications to do right after that so still busy times (never thought I'd be in my mid-30's and doing this). Anyways I am extremely pleased with this lens and am glad I kept it. As before the following images are taken using AF, are LR4 RAW developed with no PP and only Lens Profile Correction enabled except the 5th one which has a -0.40 exposure adjustment...I really need to start evaluating photo hosting sites soon and pick one so sharing is easier.

Tiny tiny basil flowers
50mm f2.8 iso100

pretty sharp wide open
150mm f2.8 iso100

I really like the bokeh at f4
50mm f4 iso100

a bit sharper still
150mm f4 iso100

These little guys can alter their coloration and skin patterns similar to a chameleon though not as dramatic
150mm f2.8 iso800

150mm f4 iso200

I am glad I took a chance with this lens and it has gotten me to really take a look at Sigma lenses more closely and if I stay with pentax I will definitely consider their offerings more seriously.

Out of all the lenses in my signature, this is the one I'd sell last.
