First an image from my K-7 at ISO 400 and with the kit 18-55mm WR just to give a perspective into the next two pics. I was on Sydney Harbour yesterday when I took these from a ferry. The ISO was quite high to let me have high shutter speeds on a rocking boat.

The second pic is taken with the K-5 at ISO 3200 and the lens at 250mm.

The third pic is a crop of the second pic. I was surprised at the detail in the fence mesh.

A very good and versatily lens. Although it is heavy it's great for landscapes.

Toronto Zombie Walk 2013

OMG I hate the way Photobucket dumbs down the colors and resolution. Ugh.

Very nice!

I've merged your thread with the existing 60-250mm samples thread.

I'm looking for some samples of 60-250 with 1.4X TC - anyone have any? Any of the examples posted here using the TC?
I'm wondering how that will compare with the 150-450. I know it's not quite the same reach but for the price difference if the IQ was anywhere close...

By the way, I *love* this lens. It's not the absolutely sharpest lens, but it's good enough and it has a quality that I really like. It's also incredibly versatile.

Here's a link to a sample shot done with the DA* 60-250mm + 1.4x HD Rear Converter: https://www.flickr.com/photos/mjsfoto1956/18596334063

and here's another: https://www.flickr.com/photos/mjsfoto1956/14558512003

And here's a link to a list of 190 photos taken with the DA* 60-250mm: https://www.flickr.com/search/?user_id=94656478%40N00&sort=date-taken-desc&t...0mm&view_all=1

In case you haven't guessed: the DA* 60-250mm is one of my favorite lenses of all time (and I've been shooting for 38+ years now)
