This is the slightly slower and less-expensive cousin to the 100mm f/2.8 FA Macro. It is fairly compact and light, easy to carry and use. Prices seem to range between $100-$150 USD, I paid $117.00 with shipping. My copy is clean, with a few slight wear marks on the barrel. Optics are clear and nearly dust-free.
Overall, I find it a good, sharp and accurate lens, with fine color rendition and I.Q.
It has a few quirks, like noisy A/F and "hunting" somewhat in low-contrast situations.

Recently picked up a copy of this lens cheap, $60. Tried it out the other morning. AF is pretty useless but color and rendering are sweet.
