i have placed the new archive index, and also plan to add, in the near future links to threads in other forums, specifically the lens discussion forum, threads of interest in one specific lens.

a note to all on the archive index

i have updated the format to include now the lenses on full frame threads, as well as in the other links column, threads pertaining to a specific lens that are in the lens discussion thread, but which are primarily related to the one specific lens in the thread. i invite all who use the index, if there are threads elsewhere with one lens as the theme to post links here and i will update the index to include them

edit note i am going through the lens clubs, for example to link them where appropriate to the lenses in the archive index.

just to keep people informed about the new look of the archive index, i have been gradually working through the index and adding links to other useful threads, starting with lens clubs and lens specific threads in the lens forums.

as an afterthought, i have also begun adding links to the lens reviews, in an attempt to give a "one stop shopping" list to give users of lenses, especially legacy lenses a way to research the lenses easily

i would be interested on any comments people have, and specifically if there are lens threads i have missed on people's favourite legacy lenses
