Thanks, it was shot in Paris about 4 years ago , the 85 makes for a great candid portrait lens for street shots because it allows you a little space between yourself and the subject

I particularly like the second shot with the lanterns Sinister. I have been considering this lens for a while....my son has just got a second hnd Samyung 8mm fisheye and I am impressed by the solidity of the lens...the bokeh on the 85mm looks great too...oh LBA, LBA, LBA!

Thanks Stephen. It's a great lens but focusing can be a bit tricky

I've been considering this lens for a while but apparently I haven't found any with the auto aperture setting or the ability to communicate with the camera to confirm focus lock.I know that these features don't come on all of them but a lot of people here do have them on this lens.ive been looking at both samyang and rokinon and asked a few eBay sellers but no luck so far..

The model for Pentax DSLR communicates with the camera the aperture setting (same as with Pentax KA lenses). The only thing missing is the AF (autofocus function). Also, focus indicator (hexagon) and focus trap works also.

Maybe for the focus indicator you're right but as for the auto aperture, the lenses I've been looking at don't even have the A setting on the aperture ring.so for those,I guess aperture is manual.I've seen a couple of listings that did show the A setting in the photo but when I asked the seller to confirm it for the Pentax k mount they just said aperture was fully manual.unless they just don't know their stuff
