The only way to confirm is via the lens model number, for example A17 is the version I have. You may want to ask submitters to identify the lens ID.

I had an old Tamron 70-300 previously that was vastly inferior to my current A17 model.

EDIT: I believe the old one I had was a 572D http://www.tamron-usa.com/assets/pdfs/572D.pdf

That is why I spent the effort to maintain the new archive index. It is 100% current and complete.

Please use the index (top sticky on the page) before posting new photos or lenses
