SMC Pentax-M 35mm f/2.8

Thought I'd separate this from the 'examples' thread.

Shot on a crop-sensor (K5) - 2s mirror up, tripod, remote release, SR off.

I realise this test is far from perfect - please don't critique the technique - and I hope the results are useful to someone.\

All are click for full-size.

Conclusion:
Very sharp in the centre from f/4, decent enough across a crop frame at f/4. Excellent at f/5.6-8. An underrated lens!

My copy is stuck wide-open (unless I semi-unlock the lens, as for the above), so these are all close-up and f/2.8:

And a full-frame example on Ektachrome:

Nice shot.

Any chance of a full-size link, or some 100% crops and we can see how this little old M holds up on FF...?

I like the 35/2.8 but it tends to play third fiddle to my 35/2 and the DA 35mm limited (at least on digital, not on film). It's a very nice lens to use, with great IQ - very sharp from f/4.5 and not at all bad below that.

Well why not post an image or two with the 35/2.8? That is the purpose of this thread.
