Takumar 67 55mm 1:3.5

With an enormous 100mm diameter filter ring, the 55mm 1:3.5 presents a challenge in finding filters. That drawback, however, is offset by the lens' cinematic light rendering quality. At no time and in no part of the frame does this lens ever appear to lose control of the light passing through it. As an added bonus, it looks pretty amazing on a Pentax 6X7.

what are the apparent interference rings on the B&W shot of the cactus?

was this a glass mounted frame?

it does not show in any of the other images with this lens, but also show up on the 105mm image of the cactus/

Back when I was still refining my medium- and large-format digitization process (I used my K-7 and a macro lens because it performs better than a scanner) I had problems keeping the negatives flat. So I used a piece of glass. That led to those banding lines on images. Since then, I've switched to a negative mask from an old Honeywell Repronar and that works VERY well. No banding and near-perfect negative flatness. I suspect an old negative carrier would work well, too.
