Vivitar Series 1 70-210F3.5 (Version 1)

Shot with the pentax Q, making this about a 1100mm (FF equivalent) Lens

actually pretty good when you can get close.

if it is version 2 it should be a separate thread, the rules for the archive are one thread per lens, if you post as a new thread i will add it to the index

There being 2 sample image posts in 3 years and with the differences being minimal, interations of the same lens, I figured that wasn't necessary. But, if you'd prefer I'll delete my sample photos.

I appreciate it is a bit of a pain for you , but I would prefer that you start a new link, and copy the post to that link, and I will add the link to the archive index, because we already have links for versions 1 and 3 as separate threads.

Thanks

It isn't that it's a pain but I feel that it further fragments this already fragmented collection. I don't believe there is enough interest/ownership to warrant the 5 separate threads this would entail. But... It's neither here nor there. I've removed them.

The basis for the entire sample image archive is one thread per lens model, you shot with version 2 which does not have an index thread yet, so that is one thread to create, not 5. Where did 5 threads come from?

Just curious

Only that there are 5 basic versions of this same model lens throughout the initial years, and more "plasticy" ones after. I've only had experience with the first 2 versions.
