Did a review of the Tamron SP Teleconverter 2X (01F) on my blog.
This is made for the Tamron Adaptall system and I tested this with the Tamron Adaptall-2 135mm f/2.5 (03B)

One thing your review doesn't mention is that this is a flat-field teleconverter, which makes it especially suitable for the Tamron 90mm f/2.5 macro.

My manual says it is compatible with:

35-80/2.8-3.5
70-150/3.5
70-210/3.5-4
70-350/4.5
80-250/3.8-4.5
85-210/4.5
200-500/6.9
90/2.5
105/2.5
135/2.8
200/3.5
300/5.6
500/8

It gives 1:1 macro with the 90/2.5, and also (surprisingly) the 70-210/3.5-4.

The teleconverter is not compatible with Canon FD, Konica AR, or Topcon RE mounts.
