Are these processed from RAW? Looks great even with 3200ISO. Can make out the center details, and the F8 shot of the building shows nice corners at 43mm.

These are great images. Looks like Pentax has a real decent performer for sale.

All Ooc Jpgs, no corrections applied. Most of them handheld high ISO, but light is scarce this time of the year...

Wow, if they are just OOC jpegs, that's very nice. RAW files will allow for even better sharpening etc.

Nice images. The lens seems a very decent performer. Thanks for the brick walls too

These were all shot on a K-5, it seems. A K-3 would probably extract even more detail out of the lens.

The lens is equally sharp across the frame but it swigs light like a fish. I suppose the situation may worsen a little when applying an UV-filter which seems a must considering the large unprotected front glass of the lens. Here I may provide some architectural shots for inspection. Note, these shots are low ISO but relatively long handheld exposure (hence maybe introducing some shake/noise).

Could you explain what "swigs light like a fish" means?

I guess it should read, drinks like a fish - should read, it needs a lot of light.

This time I post a macro shot, keeping in mind, that this is the weaker side of the lens:

85mm @ f5.6

85mm @ f8.0

I got this lens early January as my walk-around lens. After one month of intensive use and comparisons with my other lenses (FA31, FA20-35, M50 1.7, FA77) I have to say that I am very, very impressed. Definitely worth its price.
