I enjoy this lens, but I have been critical of AF performance, which is either (more optimistic) difficult to master or (more pessimistic) erratic. But here is a shining example of the lens at work, in relatively dim light, handheld, 18mm, at f2.8 (ISO 1600, 1/60"). Note the sharpness where it was focused, my cat's eye.
