I went back and compared this photo against the similar photo you took with the Pentax 77mm Limited lens. To my eye, I prefer the above 85mm Samyang photo to the Pentax 77mm one!

It's a Rokinon, not a Samyang

And this one is a bit shaky...

But I really like this lens...

Hello

I own the new "Samyang 1,4 / 85 mm AS IF UMC". I don't know if it has a production fault or an design fault. At 1.4 no sharpness at all on my K-1. I tried it on a tripod without SR and also normal use with SR. The get some sharpness it need to go at least to 2.8, at 5.6 or 8 it is OK.

I am very disappointed about this lens. Has someone the same experience with this newer version to the Samyang?
