Razor thin DOF at 1.2. Do you know the actual DOF distance for 1.2 with your Porst?

At 1 meter you have 2cm. At 2 meters you have 9cm of dof.

I agree with what swan said - it's ridiculously thin and my keeper rate drops dramatically...

but when you nail it, you dance a little bit...

Some very nice examples of what this lens is capable of in the right hands. I need to dig mine out from the box it's hidden in - I'm ashamed to admit that I haven't even tried it on the K-1 yet

thank you - I understand that it may be easier to work with on the K-1, owing to the camera's larger/brighter viewer....

I would think so - although I'm not very good with thin DoF and optical view finders. I really miss the split-image from the film days. Still, I will have to see how it fares - it's too good a lens not to be used.
