When I look at photos like these, I ask why is Pentax taking a back seat to any other camera makers. And usually for less money and more features included.

A very good example of isolating the subject. The lines/texture of the petals are showing nicely, and lovely capture of the "powdery" appearance of the front right petal.

Truly, a "Pretty Picture"!

The Mercury transit - today it passed in front of the Sun (little dot on the left). 55-300 PLM @ 300mm with ND500 filter.

I am starting to think this lens to be much better than what I thought. The animals pictures above are quite good.
