SMC A 35-70mm f4

I noticed the variable-aperture version, but not the f4

mine is an extensively-beat copy:





it was also missing the filter threads, which were apparently either chewed off or poorly-detonated, leaving a ragged edge all the way around... I epoxied a step-up ring on the front, which allowed the addition of a hood...

It's a compact little lens too but no light weight. The focus is a little too free on my copy, for my liking anyway and I feel that it won't stay there.
I have not tried it on FF yet, as the 28-105 is so good. Going to give it a try out now, i'm looking to see if the rendering is any different.

Fine Lens, mine stayed pretty much permanently attached to my Super Program. Your Tomato shot shows it's qualities.
