I thought there was a thread for this lens, but it was for the 28mm variant...

Nice work! I would expect that the prices for XR Rikenon 35/2.8 will take a jump as a result. I might even be tempted to get one given my fondness for the focal length and the nice build.

thank you - it's a surprisingly useful lens, with a decent MFD, and a quality build...

Ed has been using one recently to dynamite effect - so much so, I bought mine based on his inspiration...

Perhaps you could generate a few technical portraits of your lens to replace the single fuzzy face-on view used on the PF review database. I am sure the mods will cooperate.

Pepperberry passed his XR Rikenon 35/2.8* on to me and while it has not seen much action, I have used it some...

I know...mostly gear shots, but with COVID and all, that is what I have been doing.

Steve

* Mine is a second version, serial number 215850 (on side), with f/16 minimum aperture having six blades. The first version is reputed to be "twin" to the Pentax-M 35/2.8 and has serial number on the front ring, f/22 minimum, and five blades.
