Wow truly amazing photos. You captured some real subtle differences in coloring of the sky.
Nice work!

I am buying it off Sandy Hancock so I know it is a lovely copy. I generally do calibration mid zoom, would you recommend both ends? To do that presumably you calibrate one then check it at the other, yes?
My copy focuses perfectly wide open at 20mm but is slightly off at 40mm. TBH I think I rarely use the in-between focal lengths. Using live-view it focuses perfectly of course.

I plan to adjust at 40mm to get it perfect and see what adjustment it needs, then see how it does at 20mm. After that see if I can find a setting which will do for both.

Thanks, I will do that. The tracking says it is awaiting payment at the depot, so, as soon as the letter arrives I will get it paid and finally have the lens at the top of my wish list

My copy arrived midweek and it is pristine. I took it out and calibrated it, +5 was pin sharp at both ends of the range (I did 20mm first then found 40mm was the same). So, time for some testing. I had a walk round town then visited an ancient monument. What a brilliant lens! I will be doing a Sic with it next month but first impressions are incredible!

This first one is a three image merge done in Lightroom.

A little bit of Winter

A recent quick photo outing with my K-3 Mark III and my often-used DA 20-40mm Limited. Lovely little lens!

RAW files developed in DxO PhotoLab 6 and finished in Affinity Photo.

Thanks, I like number four myself, I was happy to start off the new year with that morning light and fog combination.
