Dave, I continue to enjoy your photos taken with this lens and the K-S1... There's a very film-like look to the colours - would you care to share your post-processing approach, perhaps?

Would be interesting (and time consuming...) to compare this lens to the Pentax K 35mm f2, M 35mm f2, etc glass on the same body without an adapter in the way. This Nikon seems quite good optically with very nice OoF rendering and colors.

thank you, Mike.....

these aren't with the K-S1, however.... I've been using a Fuji X-T2 to continue my non-M42/K-mount lens adventure....

and my post-processing for these shots are jpeg from the camera, run through Luminar for sharpness/exposure/clarity.... and post to Flickr....

hugely time-consuming...

for comparison purposes, I only have the K 35/2, but also a Soligor C/D 35mm f2 P that is very impressive also.....

Very impressive. I've read a lot of positive opinion on Fuji's JPEGs, and it really seems there's something to it

I actually own a copy of the K 35mm f2 so a Soligor vs Nikkor vs Pentax is just fine by me. Maybe even better.

but it won't be on the same camera body - the Soligor would be on the K-S1, the Pentax on the K-3, and the Nikkor on the X-T2...

Oh. I thought the Adaptist mount situation you had going would allow for all three on the K-S1. Never mind.

yes and no....... I could have done all three, but the Adaptist mount adventure is done; I removed it from the camera a couple of weeks ago and forwarded it on to another enthusiast....
