so, a bit more disciplined in approach, with more deliberate shots in mind, with a stronger conclusion :

not a bad lens at all - it's sharp, renders well, has a decent MFD...

it's not necessarily a sow's ear, but still probably not a lens that I would voluntarily use for a day out...
