Great pix. It hearkened me back to my misspent youth.

That is one, very nice motorcycle, that Honda CB 160, with the 'clubman' bars as the Brits would say.

Back in the '60's when I was a teenager, was when this motorcycle was made, I lusted after one. Had a top speed of around 76 mph, good acceleration and a wonderful, raspy 4 stroke exhaust note.

I never did get one, but I did get a larger engined Japanese sport bike....a Yamaha YDS3 Catalina Super Sports. It had a twin cylinder 250cc, high revving twin. Dual exhausts, twin carbs, rated at 28.6 hp @ 8600 rpm...high revs for the day. Handled well, braked well...had large, double leading, drum brakes....and accelerated quite well...competitive with some 500cc engined motorcycles, in it's day.

this an M-mount, uncoupled rangefinder lens - the Voigtlander is on the left, while the SMC 35mm f2 is on the right

12-blades in the aperture

and I was able to find one that included the OEM hood

it's a little heavy, at just over a pound - the later versions are smaller and light

How can u adapt a M to K pentax? The focal length is much shorter...

I don't think it was used on a K mount body, see the first post.

If you click on the image, Flickr will have the camera information from the EXIF in the 'info' tab.

you can, but the adapter will extra glass in it - or the adapter will lose infinity focus for you .....

these are not shot on a K-mount camera, but on an X-mount camera....

the MFD is a little awkward at just about 2',
This is due to the inherent inaccuracies of the RF focusing system, which get worse the closer you get to MFD. Relatively long MFDs are a trait of adapted RF lenses, with an SLR you can see the focus errors coming.

Among Leicaphiles the Voigtländer 35mm f/1.2 ASPH lens is very highly regarded, and is considered to be one of the best M mount lenses Voigtländer has ever made.

thank you for the explanation - I have no experience with RF systems, other than the occasional lustful glances at their lenses...
