Nikkor-S 5.8cm f1.4 (Nikon F-mount, pre AI)

I picked this lens up for a song, due to the oily aperture and the chip in the front element:

close up of the chip:

this damage has had no effect on any of my images

the lens went to Advance Camera for a CLA, where they cleaned the aperture and also stabilized that chip....

please note - the mount on this lens has not been altered; I'm using it on a Fuji mirrorless mount...

You have found another rabbit hole to go down?, you going to test every lens in the world at this rate.

It renders nicely in the background and the colors are film like. I guess the Fuji emulations are responsible for the colors.

rabbit hole ... that's funny...

more like the Channel Tunnel....

buying into a mirrorless system opens up a huge opportunity to try almost any/all camera mounts...

currently, I only own one Fuji lens, all the rest I use on my Fuji bodies are adapted....
