Meyer-Optik Gorlitz Primoplan 58mm f1.9 (M42)

I received this lens last month, but the focus helical was so tightly-bunged it would spin itself off of the camera... so off for a CLA ....

it returned to me yesterday in great shape....

here she is next to my CZJ Biotar 58/2

colors are a bit subdued, but not unexpected for the lens' age

Nice! These colors don’t look subdued, in the dog shot there’s maybe a loss of contrast that washed it out a little. Are you using a hood with it?

I am using a hood with the lens - more work with this lens is on the way....

the above shot is a rural road roughly 1/2 of a mile from where I was standing - reasonable sharpness at infinity for this lens....
