| MC Mir-24N 35mm f2
this is the second lens to arrive this week - oddly enough, from the same Arsenal manufacturing plant... 35mm is one of my favorite focal lengths and this lens gets some pretty positive reviews - I'm hoping it compares to my Flektogon 35 and Nikkor 35/2... that is the Flektogon on the right:  more bare-metal aperture blades:  and another Nikon F-mount (also available in M42):   | |

this copy has cleaning marks in the front, a fair amount of dust, and even some bubbles in the glass, but still sharp:   | |

Beautiful photos! Thanks for sharing  The MIR-24N is one of the few Soviet lenses I don't own, though I do have the M42 version, which - curiously, I've always thought - has a quite different body design, thought it's the same optically. A really nice lens, for sure... | |
