lens question

Recently purchased Pentaxk-r and would like to know if it is possible to mount a tamron 90mm, 1:25 macro lens on my new K-r?
The Tamron has an adaptall-2 mounting ring on the lens. This lens was used for close up dental photography.

Any help, suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

As long as the lens has a P/K mount, Yes. Better if it has the P/K-A mount which has the contacts to allow the lens to talk to the camera transmitting aperture information. These lenses have interchangeable mounts so they can be used on Any camera with the proper adapter.

If it is an adaptall mount. Your will need the corresponding adaptall adaptor to K mount. Which you should be able to find on ebay or some camera stores not the big chain ones. It would be manual focus and manual aperture which means green button operation. However it will work provided you get the adapter.
