I've recently found a Vintage PENTAX SUPER PROGRAM 35mm FILM CAMERA W/50mm LENS on E-bay and was wondering if anyone knew how it compares to other models (35mm). Or if it's truly worth the asking price. Please help me out, I'm new to cameras but foresee a new found love!

Agree with Ash about the database... good place to start.
Be aware that the aging fleet of K, M and Z series cameras may have foam seal issues that should be taken care of. If the seller is the original owner, then do try to get some honest background of the life of the camera... if it had been services (CLA'd: Clean - Lubricated - Adjusted) at some point recent is a plus. M family cameras are study with many metal parts inside compared to Z cameras with so many plastic parts and plastic geared motor that dries out and fails.

The Super Program is one of my favorite Pentax film SLRs- it's still got the solid build quality of the M series bodies while introducing program autoexposure and support for Av mode.
