Pentax ME Super Blank Film

Hi,

I'm not sure what is wrong with my camera and I am quite the beginner. I have a Pentax ME Super and I shot a full roll of film, but after taking it in to be developed I was informed that the entire roll was blank. Not sure if there is a problem with the aperture/light source (I don't have a REAL camera technical vocabulary so that might be way off) or what it is.

Any help would be great, or if I need to provide more information.

nevermind, after some searching I think it is because of mis-spooled film.

I was trying out a new-to-me film camera for and didn't load the film properly and got exactly the same results you got (as I was shooting frames number 37, 38, 39 I finally realized my error).

After that I took an old roll of film and practiced about 10 times how to properly load the roll ... and more importantly, how to tell as you load it, if the film is really moving inside the camera.

Anyway, good luck, have fun, etc.

Of some help is that the ME super is equipped with a indicator window that lets you know if the film is not going around the "take-up" spool correctly. Also, if the "rewinding" know is not spinning by the second or third frame per advance of the film, then it may mean the film is not going.

Watch the rewind knob as you advance the film, you should see rewind knob move as the as the advance lever is moved. Cliff
