Asahi Pentax 6x7 Camera Prints

I teach at a private school where recently we were given large framed photographs that were done in the either late 60's or early 70's by a man named John M. Griffith whom I learned earlier today died in 2005. These were a limited edition and we have #1 of 20 and then the negative was destroyed. My question is, does anyone else out there know of this man or know of any of his other works that may still be out there somewhere? His step daughter's husband is a family friend and he gave us these large prints a few years ago. I would like to honor his work in some way. I have posted his pictures on Facebook and will upload them also on Flickr in hopes of finding other prints, or even his family members. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks!
